Mercado Hyppies

Mercado Hyppies, known locally as the “Hippie Market,” is a well-loved evening market in Torrevieja that has recently moved from the pier area to a quieter location near Parque de la Estación, close to the minigolf course and the salt lake. Stretching about 400 meters along Avenida de la Estación — passing through a tunnel under the N-332 road — the market now features around 70–90 stalls, although not all are open at the same time. Here you’ll find handmade crafts, jewelry, clothes, and decorative items, but no food or fresh produce. The atmosphere is relaxed, with easy parking nearby and the occasional stall serving ice cream or waffles. The market is open every day until late evening.
